Giada De Laurentiis’s Braciole

italiancooking_brasiole_lg Braciole is a traditional Italian beef dish that is prepared in the Rollatini style, as in rolled up like a jelly roll, and stuffed with bread crumbs, cheeses, and seasonings. This recipe by Giada is a winner. It is really simple to make even though it sits in the oven for a long time. I would highly recommend pounding the flank steak to thin it out so you can roll it up and keep the stuffing in place (maybe to 1/4 inches thick). The sauce is to die for. We all loved it!
