Tater-Topped Casserole

Tater-Topped-Casserole Again, the recipe’s from Kraft Foods. Super easy and cheap to make!


  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 small  onion, finely chopped
  • 1 can (10-3/4 oz.) condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/4 cup  milk
  • 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables
  • 1 cup  Shredded Cheddar Cheese (I suppose you could use other cheese blends if you wanted to)
  • 1 lb. (1/2 of 32-oz. pkg.) frozen seasoned tater tots


  1. Heat oven to 375 degrees. Brown meat with onions in large skillet, stirry occassionally; drain. Spoon into 2-qt. casserole dish (I used a 9 inch by 9 inch baking pan for this one).
  2. Mix soup and milk; pour over meat mixture. Top with vegetables, then cheese and finally the tater tots.
  3. Bake for 45 minutes or until the tater tots are golden brown and the casserole is heated through.
